HISTORY

When the creator of Robotic Crashdown was 5-8 years old he and his friend Simon played with robots they made out of wooden. We didn't know what a camera was at that time so there where no video of it. Firestorm used to win our series, just because Simon had built that robot, I guess, but then André losed his interest for Robot Wars but a few years later he saw that Channel 6 (in Sweden) starting to send Robot Wars again. Then André started to build some cardboard robots and got an arena (pretty tiny) and played and did about 6 series, but can only remember two of the winners. Series 1 winner was King Crush, a very powerful flipper and now he goes by the name Gravity. Series 2 winner was Junk Bot, a bot with a spinning blade. André was 11 years old when he stopped with that series too. But then, when he was 12 he got that brilliant idea that no one ever could find up with, fight with lego robots and film it and lay up it to youtube! Just in case, he search for Lego Robots, and up came hogwild94's series. He was pretty dissapointed, but find out that many others have done series. Many where talking about lastdaydawning but he couldn't find any robot series at his channel, but he find out that he was "the best" of making FMRW (no offence guys). So, André started a channel called LegoBot2 and had no idea about copyright and that stuff so he called it Lego 'Bots first, he find out very soon that he need to change that name to LegoWars, and that was the start of LegoWars/Robo Meltdown/Robotic Crashdown.

Some robots from the previous series that André has made:

King Crush - A robot with a powerful flipper that now goes by the name Gravitation.

Crazy Camp - A full wedged robot that had thin cardboard-armour. They have created a new robot and it's called Mad Camp and it's in series 2.

Junk Bot - A spinning robot, again made out of cardboard.

Bull's Nest - A robot that should look alike a bull. Had a sawblade that made alot of damage.

Firestorm - Simon's robot. Won many series. It was a green-painted wedge made out of wood. We pretended that when we flipped Firestorm (finger powered backwards, if you understand) it flipped forwards instead.

LegoWars: Test Series
The test series was really one of the worst series on youtube. But LegoBot2 was blind and as all the "big" guys like Lastdaydawning, Tourdeforce17 and many others I can't remember said that "This series is gonna be huge", "Your series has one of the best lego robots" and "Your series is better than any other" he kept on filming Test Series. The test series Heat A and B had a very small arena and where filmed one-hand, like hogwild, but then LegoBot2 asked his mom for some cardboard boxes and he made an arena out of the boxes. That arena was is used in Series 1 too. The test series had a strange layout, there where only 4 heats with 8 robots and 1 robot through from each. But for the Semi-finals, LegoBot2 change the layout so the heat losers where also in the semis. The grand final was between Monster Catcher and Magical. Magical was flipping Monster Catcher alot, but Monster Catcher took Magical in his grip and flipped him in the pit. Monster Catcher was our winner of LegoWars: Test Series. A pretty fun thing is that it was only Lego Robots in this series.

Robo Meltdown: Series 1
For series 1 LegoWars changed name to Robo Meltdown after that KingPazza1 was the only one to vote for a name. And also, he wanted to change the name when he got so many other types of robots. The arena that was used was the same as used in Heat C and up of Test Series. The layout for Robo Meltdown: Series 1 was 8 heats with 8 robots. The first 4 heats had the camera angle LegoBot2 used in Test Series but for the last 4 heats he decided to change that camera angle to a better one. In the heats, everyones favourite (okay not everyone) the newcomers Orcane got out in the heats and KingPazza1 complained about that Radiostar should have been counted out. The other favourite, Spike-a-saurus (named after Living9host suggestion) did very well and totally destroyed Typhoon 3 in his heat. Magical, that was in the grand final in Test Series got to the grand final for the second time in a row. In the Grand Final he met King B Powerchurch, a really good ramming robot. But that was a piece of cake for Magical, he flipped him out directly. Magical is the titelholder for series 2, and they hope they can get to their 3rd Grand Final (lucky bastards).

Robotic Crashdown: Series 2
Yet again, a new name for this series. And also a new channel name, andre95productions here is the channel. André has now finished series 2. André has got a new arena for his series 2. Also, this series is the biggest FMRW-series on youtube so far. It was meant that Robotic Crashdown: Series 2 took pretty long to finish, in André's opinion, and it was of course the best series André has made. The grand final was very exciting. The 4 robots in the grand final was: Shade Serpent, Dorito Nacho, Spike-a-saurus and Peps-o-flippo. Spike-a-saurus was the only seed in the grand final, but in André's opinion he wasn't the favourite. It turned out to be Spike-a-saurus and Peps-o-flippo in the grand final and the winner? Spike-a-saurus! When Peps-o-flippo lost it's flipper, he had no chance against the mighty Spike-a-saurus.

Robotic Crashdown: Series 3

Arena and the refs/judges
The arena is a pretty normal arena. Made out of cardboard boxes and tape. The arena has a pit that you open with finger power. An arena-floorflipper (KingPazza1 design) that is very powerful. It has CornerPatrolZones for 2 house robots. The dropzone, a marked x-zone. And on the arena edges there is yellowblack tape. A floor arena will now be used in Heat D and forward to the rest of series 3 and then maybe more. The ref in the arena has changed a lot. It has been a lego-refbot, a Garfield (yay Garfield), a polarbear and for series 2 I will have a RefBot. The judge is Mikkelsen, a penguin with glasses and rollerblades.

About some popular robots
Magical - The best lego-flipper and was the first robot to flip out another robot. Has been in the Grand Final 2 times in a row and won Series 1 by flipping out King B Powerchurch. In the awards of series 1 he won the best flipper award (lego) and the best lego-robot award. He hope he could win series 2. Was seeded 1st for series 2 but has now lost 7 places for series 3.

Orcane - 1st in the favourited series I would say. But he didn't won the fans favourite award. Didn't get through in his heat, but should have according to people. Radiostar should have been counted out as he just stand still in the heat semifinal. Still, he is one of the best rammers. Seeded 18th for series 3.

Hammerfall - Won the best K'nex robot award and also the fans favourite. Has that hammer that could create mayhem. Many other K'nex builders in Skåne has try to make remakes of him. Will appear in series 2.

King B Powerchurch - KingPazza1 favourite. Has that ramming spikes and that white things on the wheels. Making damage to himself more than to the other robots. But he is still the best rammer as he makes very much damage. Won the most destructive award. Was seeded 2nd for series 2 but has now lost 17 places for series 3.

Spike-a-saurus - Winners of series 2. Favourited by many Fan-made roboteers. Has a big spike that goes through the armor of the robots like a hot knife in butter.

Mysterious 1-6 - Started with Mysterious (1) that did pretty well in the test series. Then for series 1, he was rebuilt because André needed some parts to another robot called Rawdrop. Mysterious 2 was seeded 4 and did crap, he survived lesser than 3 seconds without getting any damage. Then Orcane rammed him and he loosed his flipper. Then he was putted in to the pit. Mysterious 3 was not showing in a vid as it just flipped itself all the time so André trashed him and made 4 Torque with the old "rivals" Rawdrop. 4 Torque was seeded 11th but left W.O for some reason. Then the Mysterious team ended Team Mysterious Rawdrop and did Mysterious 5, out of a new making product; K'nex! It was a flipper, but was not so powerful so they made Mysterious 6 with a better flipper and an axe. Will appear in Series 3.
