Random Robot Wars Random robot wars is a fan made robot wars series, created by KingPazza1/ RoboticRandomness (Paul) in January 2008. It was inspired by Hogwild94s illustrious series. The first series was in fact a training series which was filmed on KingPazza1’s bedroom floor, as he did not have an arena. After some encouraging comments KingPazza1 decided to pop down to Tesco and retrieve some cardboard boxes, with which he made an arena which is one of the most recognisable arenas. It has an extremely powerful floor flipper which sends many robots flying. It also has a pit release button (which is a yellow smily face) to open the pit which also differs from Hogwild94’s series. It also has a drop zone. In series 1 and the first half of series 2, the drop zone was a very destructive Lynx deodorant can (touch), but now alternates with an even more destructive large stone which obliterated TT Advanced on its second showing. In series 3 other items were also used.

KingPazza1’s first series had 32 competitors with 8 seeds and 8 heats. The winners of the heats went through to the quarter finals. KingPazza1 made many plaudits through his first series but the one criticism was that 7 out of the 8 seeds went through to the quarter finals. Only Tetris was knocked out in the heats. Four robots then went through to the semis, and the final was between Snowflake and Comb. Snowflake went onto win series 1, and she has probably been the strongest robot out of the random robot wars series.
Snowflake Other robot favourites include Scoop, who has his own fan club, Dragon, Spider Splitter and Crocadilla, and Thunder.
Scoop KingPazza1 finished filming series 2 in March, which contained 48 robots, 12 seeds, and 12 heats. Dragon won the final beating the much loved Scoop in a thrilling encounter where he managed to smash Scoop out of the arena.
Dragon- series 2 winner.KingPazza1's favoured robot making product is knex, but he has also experimented with paper and cardboard (and his sister)- well, not experimented with her, but she has made some superb robots out of paper and cardboard!. Mega blocks have also been used. There are of course the random robots which gave the series its name. These include robots like car (a toy jaguar, who used to be rather awful but has improved), Comb, Metal duck and Whistle. The most successful robots are the knex robots. 3 of series 2's eliminator finalists were knex and that doesn't even include Snowflake the favourite (who got knocked out by Web in the semis) and SpiderSplitter (3rd seed.)His series also has the bonus of being filmed from a 3rd person point of view, which is much easier to watch and easier to see the whole arena. KingPazza1’s sister, PinkSazi films for him, although series 3 was be filmed by himself, as she will be still at school when he has finished his GCSEs. She filmed the semis and grand final of series 3 and this may be the last time she ever films. His house robots have also provided viewers with a few laughs. The regular ones include: Skizer (A pair of scissors), Sneeze 3 (a tissue box), Taz, and Stapler.
In mid- June KingPazza1 uploaded 6 Euro 2008 random robot wars specials which many have enjoyed. The final was won by Pendulum Punisher (France) against Umbro Republic (Czech Republic).
KingPazza1 has also produced some non-battle videos in April and May as he has his GCSEs so has less time. These are highlight videos.

Paul decided to delete his old channel due to friends knowing him by the name of kingpazza but uploaded 3 videos on his new channel 'RoboticRandomness' in August 2008. This was the start of his extreme series 'Robotic Randomness', but after a long break re-uploaded the start of series 4 in January 2009, and then continued to upload the rest of the series which he had already filmed back in August
.
Paul decided to hold the FMRW awards in March 2009.
History:After watching robot wars 7 or 8 years ago, KingPazza decided to make k'nex robots and play with them. If he had filmed all of these there would be over 100 series as each battle(consisting of 10-13 robots) was a series where they battled it out to the the last remaining robot. It was set out as a huge annihilator, with the bottom 2 robots usually being replaced with new knex bots. Unfortunately KingPazza did not record all of the winners in a book, and the ones he did have since been lost, but he can remember the successful robots. Snowflake, built 7 years ago was extremely successful for the 4- 5 years he played, this winning a few more than the 2nd most successul robot, Thunder. Other successful robots include Rainbow, rainbow 2+3, Lightning, Box, and DoubleFlip (SpiderSplitter's old name). The GripAttacker series of robots is also extremely old. There were 30 GripAttackers before KingPazza built GripAttacker 19+ 20 for series 1(He forgot how many he had made so started with 19). Other notable robots include Carrot, Gemini and Thunder 2. Notable robots:Snowflake:
The oldest existing robot in random robot wars. She was built by Paul's sister 7 or 8 years ago when she was only 6. It was the most successful robot in KingPazza's old unfilmed series that lasted 5 years. She probably won over 50 series, and never finished in the bottom 2 of battles (well she probably did, but his sister would have been upset if Snowflake was destroyed!) She won series 1 of Random robot wars. Unfortunately, Snowflake went out in the heats of series 3.Thunder:
Although new for series 3 on Youtube, Thunder is about 6 years old and was built by KingPazza1 himself. He was the second most successful robot, winning over 40 series. He is very small, but has a brilliant dodging ability and is very fast. It also has a reasonably powerful flipper. Thunder won series 3, beating Dragon in the final.SpiderSplitter:

Used to be called DoubleFlip when it was first created 6 years ago. This was also very successful, probably winning about 25 series. It finished 3rd in series 1 of random robot wars. He now also uses a spinning attack to great effect as well as his customary flippers which are the most powerful in Random robot Wars history. SpiderSplitter looked awesome in the early stages of series 3, but committed suicide in the Quarter Finals when he span out of the arena like a helicopter!GripAttacker series:
Originally started 6 or 7 years ago. There were actually over 30 robots created but series 1 of random robot wars had GripAttacker 19 and 20, as Paul had forgotten how many robots he had actually built! GripAttacker 13 was very successful winning about 5 series, but overall the GripAttackers probably mustered 30 series between them which is about 1 series each on average, although there were successful ones and very poor ones. GP20 won the first ever battle in my arena that I built for series 1, and also has finished 4th in both series. GP20 lost in the heats of series 3 but GP21 made the Quarters.Dragon:

Winner of series 2, he was actually built about 7 years ago by Paul and his Dad, but was part of a battery powered knex dinosaur (he was the tail) but about 5 years ago he was dismantled. Paul kept the tail as a momento of the great times he had had with the dinosaur! In the training series he was introduced to the scene, but was unsuccessful in that series and in series 1, but of course won series 2 with style. He is first seed in series 3. Dragon was once again sensational in series 3 but just lost out in the final when he was pitted by Thunder.Scoop:

A fans favourite, he was built by PinkSazi in January and joined series 1 reaching the quarter finals and surprisingly reaching the final of series 2, losing against Dragon. Shineot, a fan of Scoop also made two videos about his efforts in series 1 and 2. Scoop was flipped out in the series 3 Quarter finals by Mini-Skizer.
The rainbow series:
There were 3 rainbows in all, in my original series, and they won about 10 series between them. Rainbow 4 is taking part in series 3, and is probably the most impressive one yet. Rainbow 4 made the Quarter finals of series 3.
Lightning:
This robot was one of the last robots in Paul's 'old' series. He was built about 4 years ago and took part in the last 2 years of Paul's old series. He was reasonably successful probably winning between 5-10 series. Who knows, we may see him in a future series?
Carrot:
His name came from the colour of his flipper (2 orange claw type pieces of knex.) He survived a long time but would occassionally finish in the bottom 2 and be destroyed only to return a few battles later. He was more of a 'mid-table' robot being very average but won about 2 series against the odds.
Thunder 2:
A spin off of the original Thunder, with the difference being his flipping arms were the opposite way round. He won about 3-5 series.
Comb:

A full body flipper first used in the training series. He was a contreversial character as Paul used his finger as a pivot, but was allowed to compete in the first 3 series finishing 2nd in series 1, but going out in the heats of series 2 and 3. He will be replaced for series 4 because of the change in rules that no finger pivot robots are allowed in random robot wars. A tribute video was made about him during series 3. However, they've returned to series 4, in the form of Killer Komb, which is basically Comb, as a flipper on a toilet roll. (He's the joint first robot to be introduced in the heat WITHOUT a pic! lol)!
Thanks to all KingPazza1's supporters and all the people that watch his videos, especially André95 who always gives him good comments and through Youtube has become a great friend with him.Links: Link to RoboticRandomness channelThe Scoop fan club Link to Random Robot Wars official fan club.
